ABOUT MINDS & MOUNTAINS

We are guides and facilitators for regenerative living and leadership, bringing nature, business, and the simple joys of life back together.

Founded and run by an Austrian-Danish family that left their business life in Copenhagen behind, to start a new, more regenerative and joyful lifestyle and create a unique space for inspiration, motivation, and transformation, for people and businesses committed to change.

Minds and Mountains hosts, Mikkel and Doro, know first-hand what it means to live through “high performing” and stressful careers with too little meaning and purpose.

“We were tired of pointless meetings, always chasing the next thing, and ultimately finding little joy. We decided to take another path: a new direction with more simplicity, joyfulness, and purpose. And we needed – and took - space for that. That’s why, with this experience and the wisdom gained on our path, we’re offering that space to our guests today. A physical place and a space of transformational support.”

Inspired by the Danish life philosophy of “Hygge” and local pagan traditions, they explored how to bring greater meaning to the everyday. Healthy, delicious food, a space concept for a cozy life, and experiences that matter: stories at sunset around the fire. The forest bathed in mysterious moonlight. Understanding what is really important in life.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

  • 4 days & 3 nights’ accommodation at Minds & Mountains Eco Lodge.  – Arrival Thursday afternoon, departure Sunday afternoon
  • Plant-based & Homemade Breakfast & Candle-Light Dinners (3 times) and picnic lunches (2 times)
  • Forest Bathing & Mindful Hiking with a certified instructor (2 hours)
  • Sauna & Jacuzzi Relaxation (2 sessions of 1 hour)
  • Introduction to Ice Bathing & Breathing (1 session of 1 hour)
  • Morning Yoga & Grounding with instructor (30 min. every morning)
  • A minimum of 6 Regenerative Living Sessions. Each session will be between 45 min. to 1-hour sessions. See examples below

The sessions included in the Regenerative Living Retreat provide teaching, coaching, and consulting to support you on your transformational journey. We help you see more clearly how to bring more simplicity, purpose, and joy into your private and professional life – powered by nature.

Introduction to Hygge

“Hygge” is a Danish well-being concept that refers to self-creating a feeling of coziness, calmness, security and contentment by focusing on, and enjoying the simple but wonderful things in life, especially in the company of others. Taste how this life philosophy could bring more relaxation to your life.

Longevity Food & Mindful Eating

“Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates.

Learn, and fall in love with the foods that has the most positive influence on your body and mind, creating the basis for a healthier and longer life.

The Power of Nature in Life & Business​

The science is clear when it comes to the multiple benefits of nature for our health, happiness, and inner peace. It regulates our nervous and hormonal system, promotes creativity, and increases our capacity of being empathic and social. Negative states, on the other hand, such as stress, anxiety, and depression, decrease significantly. Discover what nature holds for you!

Sunrise Morning Yoga & Grounding

To give you the best start of the day, we invite you to join our morning Yoga & Grounding session, enabling you to have a calmer and focused rest of the day, creating the basis for a positive and open outlook to the different inputs you will meet during the day. The session lasts 45 min and is guided by an instructor.

Introduction to Ice Bathing & Breathing

Cold water immersion can feel uncomfortable at first. But once learned to control your breathing, this exercise can help reduce inflammation, ease muscle soreness, boost metabolism, and improve your overall mood.

The session latest about an hour and is guided by our team.

Forest Bathing & Mindful Hiking

Forest Bathing is an original Japanese practice that involves a mindful connection with the natural surroundings, where you pay your full attention to what you see, hear, smell and touch, in order to de-stress and reduce blood pressure.

The session lasts about 2 hours and is guided by a certified instructor.
